MARINE BIOLOGIST:
Diamonds Thudufushi boasts a state of the art Marine Biology Laboratory, with a high focus on conserving the oceans for future generations.
Participate with island’s marine biologists to discover the Maldives: daily lessons and excursions.
There is a resident marine biologist on the island to answer questions from guests who wish to learn more about the subject.
Programmed events include:
Biology evenings which explain the formation of the Maldivian atolls as well as interesting facts about the corals and fish.
GETTING HERE:
Diamonds Thudufushi is situated in the South Ari Atoll and can easily be reached by seaplane, operated by Trans Maldivian Airways .Trans Maldivian Airways, from Male International Airport with just a 25-30 minute flight.
OUR EXPERIENCE:
TWO BEDROOM WATER VILLAS
Located in an exclusive position at the end of the pier, the two “Two bedroom Villas” feature 2 double rooms with a large shared terrace and a pool. The rooms are tastefully furnished with tailor-made rattan furniture, contemporary Italian lighting and handcrafted parquet flooring. Each villa features a large living room with a comfortable sofa bed and a small corner bar.
OUR DINING EXPERIENCES:
I have to highlight the Restaurants here, we had always 10/10 experience, The food was always very fresh & Top quality.
On the Buffet they also had Live Cooking with many different dishes with beautiful presentation.
We also had a private Dinner and the Chef created for us a very special menu which was like heaven. We had the best grilled Tuna Belly ever. Next day we even repeated because it was sooo Good.
At Maakana we had lunch every day and it was 10/10.
We had here a few themed Dinners as well, during lunch and dinners they had many food options, which is very important for us, because we have many restrictions.
We also had a Teppanyaki private dinner, I love Japanese food and everything was so Delicious.
OUR SPA EXPERIENCE:
We had a Romantic Couple massage, it was so Relaxing.

The Maakana Restaurant, located in the south side of the resort, next to beach, overlooking the blue ocean, is serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
