We visited few days ago Bacalhôa Adega Museu & Palácio da Bacalhôa following with a Wine tasting. It was a very interesting Tour with a lot History, Art and of course Excellent Wines.
If you are visiting Portugal, you have to visit Bacalhôa.

A paixão por vinho e por arte, manifestações engenhosas do espirito humano juntam-se numa viagem de alto valor educacional.
Há alguns dias atrás visitamos a Bacalhôa Adega Museu e o Palácio da Bacalhôa, seguidos de uma prova de vinhos. Foi uma visita muito interessante com bastante história, arte e, claro, excelentes vinhos.
Se visitarem Portugal, têm de visitar a Bacalhôa.

Bacalhôa Adega Museu:
After the Palace, we continued at Bacalhôa Adega Museu, which was Incredible experience. We had a chance to visit the "Out of Africa" is an exhibition, which was so Interesing, after we had an excellent Wine tasting.

About the Wine and Art Concept
"Out of Africa" is an exhibition dedicated to the Queen Ginga and three Landscape Wonders from Angola. "Forgotten Generation” dedicated to three artists marked by the Holocaust period. Portuguese Tiles from XVI to XX Century. Portuguese tiles from the 16th to the 20th century used exuberantly and unparalleled in any European country, the tiles, which proliferated for more than five centuries in Portugal, ended up becoming a genuine contribution to the cultural and artistic heritage of our country.
During the tour, take the opportunity to taste the wines and fully appreciate the pleasure which can be found in the degustation of wines.
From the tasting room, admire the tranquil scene of the Japanese garden, in which some of the works of the sculptor Niizuma are exhibited, along with a Kaki tree, the 'great-granddaughter' of the only tree to survive the Nagasaki bomb.

"Out of Africa" é uma exposição dedicada à Rainha Ginga e a três Maravilhas Paisagísticas de Angola. “Geração Esquecida” dedicada a três artistas marcados pelo período do Holocausto, sentidos na pele e vincados na tela pelo fato de serem judeus. Azulejos portugueses do século XVI ao XX. Azulejos portugueses do século XVI ao XX usados de forma exuberante e sem paralelo em qualquer país europeu, os azulejos, que proliferaram durante mais de cinco séculos em Portugal, acabaram por se tornar num contributo genuíno para o património cultural e artístico do nosso país.
Durante o passeio, aproveite para provar os vinhos e apreciar plenamente o prazer que pode ser encontrado na degustação de vinhos.
Da sala de degustação, admire o cenário tranquilo do jardim japonês, no qual estão expostas algumas das obras do escultor Niizuma, junto com uma árvore Kaki, a 'bisneta' da única árvore que sobreviveu à bomba de Nagasaki.
WINE TASTING:
Our tour finished with the Wine tasting, we tasted 4 different wines: White, Rosé, Red and Moscatel. The Wines were Incredible, my favorite was the White and Red wine.
PROVA DE VINHOS:
A nossa visita terminou com uma prova de vinhos.
Experimentámos 4 vinhos: branco, rosé, tinto e moscatel. Os vinhos são incríveis, de uma qualidade muitíssimo elevada. Os meus preferidos foram o branco e o tinto.
